Winter 2021

 The Winter storms have brought such devastation to so many people around the country!  Our hearts and prayers go out to them as they deal with the aftermath of freezing temperatures, snow, ice and tornadoes.

We wanted to share some touching Winter moments from our Chapel this Winter.  Our couple's love & joy inspire us all to carry on.  God bless you and your loved one's!

"Enchanted Forest" Ceremony Site

Our NEW Outdoor Ceremony space, "The Enchanted Forest" will be ready for weddings this May, weather permitting!!
It will feature the following:
Amphitheater Style Venue           Special Bride Entry                  Much more to come!
Natural Rock Ledges                   Slate Sidewalk                          Watch for more updates!
Tree Top Shade Canopy               Handicap Access         
Wooded Landscaping                   Seating up to 150 guests
Overhead Tree Lighting               Many Photo-Op Spaces

Wedding Receptions will take place in the Chapel Sanctuary overlooking beautiful Table Rock Lake!
We are so excited to have this NEW space so close to the Chapel! In the event of inclement weather the wedding ceremony will be moved into the Chapel Sanctuary!

                              

Working with our excavator & builder to keep as many trees as possible!  The back of the Chapel can be seen in the back-round. There are many beautiful boulders to add to the future wooded landscape!  We can't wait to get started! Hoping to be finished by April for our May Brides!  Keep watching for updates!

COMING SPRING-SUMMER 2020

We are very excited to be adding an Outdoor Ceremony Space by the new Chapel!!  The area will host intimate elopement weddings all the way up to gatherings of 150 guests!
Our Brides will walk along the slate sidewalk through the mature forest to meet their groom!
The "Enchanted Forest" will be handicap accessible and shaded by the tree canopy high above!
Wedding Receptions will take place inside the Main Sanctuary.

WOW!! Wedding dates are filling in FAST!!

We love hearing all the engagement stories our couples tell us each year at this time.  Once the Holidays are over, there is NEW excitement & anticipation in the air about their upcoming weddings!! 

Imagine, prospective grooms hanging from trees, rock ledges, parachutes, and even bungee cords!!

Ladies, you are very fortunate that they do these acts of agility for you!! I can still see Pat high up in the tree reading his proclamation at the top of his lungs when he proposed.  Memories like that last a lifetime!! Thank you Babe!!  You can't help but get caught up in our couples joy & excitement!!

We don't want to disappoint any of our prospective couples, so, we hope you will get your tours schedule as soon as possible so we can lock in your date before it is taken!!  Our Saturday dates are filling in FAST!! 

It's not too soon to be looking 12 months out.  We have several Brides looking at 2021!!

October has become the NEW June!! It filled in early last year so don't wait!!

The Chapel is decorated for Winter....so if you are a Winter bride 2020/2021 you can get some ideas & be ahead of the game.  The decor will be changing to Spring soon so come take a look!!

Farewell to 2019....Excited for 2020!!

Farewell to 2019.......Excited for 2020 to Begin!!

With the passing of my Dad this year & our Moms both having severe health issues, 2019 had its many ups & downs!  We are thankful that both our Moms are doing much better. We were blessed with the arrival of our Grand-daughter Emma & the continued joy her big brother Ezra brings.  We give thanks for the health of our children & family members and for all the sustaining love they give us. We love you very much!! We are truly grateful for all we have & the strength God has given us this year!

One of the greatest things I receive hope from is watching all the love our Brides & Grooms have for each other & their families.  It is truly uplifting and it is proof that there is much goodness in the world!  The same can be said for our Resort families.  They are a joy to watch. I witness much love among them & it is great to see how the children grow from year to year.

 A huge blessing we need to count this year is our awesome staff!!  They really took over the reins when we couldn't be here!  We truly couldn't have made it without them!  We will be forever grateful for their dedication, hard work & support! They did a great job!! Laine, Rebecca & Zeke, you are the very BEST!! God Bless you!!

We are excited about the upcoming year!  We have witnessed a lot of happiness & joy in our future Brides & Grooms!! It is very exciting! Plus, we have a lot of new fun things to offer!!  I can't wait to get the weddings started!!

We wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!  We pray for God's Blessings for you & your families!  We wish you much love, strength & joy!!

"FALL IN LOVE"

As the Summer Wedding Season comes to a close, we fondly look back on all the wonderful couples & families we have been blessed to meet. It was an honor to work with all of you on your Special Day!  We wish you a lifetime of joy & happiness.
We want to Thank You for all your kind words & reviews! You made it possible for us to receive Wedding Wire's "Couples' Choice Award" for 2019! This award means so much to us because it came from our couples. It inspires us to always work toward our couples having the wedding experience of their dreams. Thank you for your wonderful support.

We are looking forward to the FALL Season and all the beautiful Fall colors surrounding our upcoming Brides & Grooms.  It is a Special time of year in the Ozark Mountains and at Dooley's Chapel.  It is also time for our Fall Open House!  We hope all our 2019 & 2020 couples will be able to attend.  We are looking forward to meeting other prospective couples as well!

Winter Wrap Up!!

It has been a busy Winter of Weddings, Bridal Tours & Bridal Shows!
Cold temperatures turned the Chapel fountain into an Emerald Ice Sculpture and the snow fall turned the grounds & forest into a Winter Wonderland!

    

Our Winter finale will be our upcoming Chapel "Open House" on Sunday, March 24th from 2-4 pm!!

YOU ARE ALL INVITED!
We will have approximately 14 Vendors on site to visit with while you tour our venue. The Chapel will be decorated by Sarah in this year's latest trends for table decor & floral design! We can't wait to see it! Some vendors will have delicious cake & food samples for you to enjoy!  Shaker's will be there to discuss wedding day refreshments & offer you a cold beverage! Bride & Wedding Party formal wear will be on display on both levels of the Chapel along with wonderful wedding photography & videography! These artists have captured many touching wedding moments at our Chapel that are sure to become lifelong memories! Beauty professionals (Hair, Make-up & Tanning experts) will be there to offer advice for your "Perfect" look on your Special Day! Awesome DJ, Denny will be there to entertain us all along with the latest craze"Selfie Mirrors" on display!  Be sure to visit with Bob outside & view the "Party Coach". He will get everyone to and from your event the "safe way"!  If you know of another exciting event coming up in a friend or loved one's future (Baby Shower, Anniversary, Birthday, Reunion, Special Party, Retreat, Conference, etc.) bring them with you!!  Our Chapel also serves as a Conference & Event Center!!  We offer LAKESIDE ACCOMMODATIONS for any of these occasions at our Resort!!
