Things
are continuing to progress here on the Chapel front. We have made a decision on
what windows to put in the back of the Chapel that will give us that beautiful
view overlooking the lake when couples are committing to forever with one
another!
We
wanted to share a little of our background with you first that ultimately led
to the vision of the Chapel and what it would look like. Wendie and Pat, the
proprietors of Dooley Lodges and Resort and Dooley Chapel are both from upstate
New York. They have a rich background in New England styles that have brought a
unique twist to Dooley Chapel. We are incorporating a mix of wood siding, a
beamed entrance, and stone accents throughout. The floor to ceiling windows are
being used to create a background with lots of natural light as well as
capturing the beautiful nature of the Ozarks.

The
top three tiers of windows belong to main level that overlooks the lakes. The
bottom row of windows are actually sliding glass doors that lead to a
covered patio.
