It has been a while since we have posted, a lot has been going on at the Resort and at the Chapel. We have been getting lots of families here for vacation. We have been running around like chickens with our heads cut off running the resort this summer. Now it has finally slowed down and we are getting into all things weddings. We have been contacting brides and getting lots of information from them for their upcoming weddings. We have been doing some tours and final appointments. We have a wedding coming up on August 3rd and we are so excited about the wedding.

We have gotten some new linens in at the Chapel. They are purple tablecloths with a white flower/sequin overlay. We added some purple and white flowers for the centerpieces. Wendie worked on the centerpieces and she did an amazing job arranging the flowers. The lavender color with the white flower overlay has been one of our favorite table linens.❤ We have thoroughly enjoyed putting the tables together for a mock wedding and getting to share them with all the brides that come through our doors for a tour.

Wendie worked on a cake to display as well so that the brides can get the full effect when they walk in. She used styrofoam for the actual cake, and she arranged flowers all over the cake, sticking to our theme she used purple flowers. Wendie did an amazing job with the cake. She really knows how to arrange those flowers perfectly! 

The Chapel itself is such a beautiful and peaceful space. When we get to go up to the Chapel to decorate or move tables around, it is such a joyous day to get to relax up there without the hectic demands of the resort. We were rearranging tables and chairs the other day to get an idea of how we wanted to set up for a wedding. While we were doing this I looked towards the front of the Chapel and had to take a picture. The sun was shining in and the water was perfect that day. The view from the front of the Chapel is just breathtaking. It is the perfect background for a wedding. This view is my favorite part of the Chapel! The picture doesn't even do it justice!

Another one of my favorite things about the Chapel is a Bridal Veil wall that we have. It is in our office, it is a plain white wall with beautiful veils, lace, and gloves hung on the wall it is just so pretty, clean, white, and just a classic addition to the Chapel! ❤
